Fran Drescher of The Nanny met her husband, Peter Marc Jacobson, in high school. They got married at 21. He wrote, directed and produced The Nanny. After 21 years of marriage, in 1999 – the same year The Nanny went off the air – Peter came out as gay to Fran. They got divorced but remain super close. In fact, they’ve tried to fix each other up.
Fran remarried in 2014 to computer scientist Shiva Ayyaduri. Peter hasn’t had as much luck in love. So, with Fran by his side, he’s turned to The Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger.
