EMPIRE fans get ready for more drama, more music and more celebrity appearances on the two-hour season finale (March 18, 8pm on Fox). Jennifer Hudson is back as Michelle, the music therapist working with Lucious’ son Andre. Dancing with the Stars contestant Miss Patti LaBelle is in the house. As is Rita Ora with rapper Charles Hamilton, and Snoop Doog will show up in a maroon three-piece suit.
Snoop Doog will perform his new song “Peaches and Cream” which has an old school beat. Fox released a sneak peak of the performance and everyone is commenting on the way Empire patriarch Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) is barely, awkwardly clapping his hands to the music. Some fans were quick to throw shade “Can Lucious clap any harder?” Others jumped into the conversation to remind them that Lucious is struggling with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control muscle movement.
