Stock car driver Kurt Busch has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR due to allegations of domestic abuse against his former girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll. The 36-year-old has a history of “arguments, fights with other drivers, profanity-laced tirades, and legal problems that has resulted in suspensions on three different occasions.”
During the 2011 NASCAR Championship week, after being fined $50,000 for verbally abusing a reporter, Busch said he was working with a sports psychologist for two months to work on “personal issues.” Busch said then, “I’ve gotten obviously a small grasp, but there’s obviously bigger things that I need to accomplish and things can’t happen overnight.”
