Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 21-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been in a medically induced coma since being found unresponsive a few weeks ago. People is now reporting that the doctors will “wean Bobbi Kristina off the medication that keeps her in the coma.” As one expert, “They take them off a medically induced coma for two reasons – because the underlying problem has improved, or to simply get a sense of what the patient is able to do for themselves.”
With the health of Bobbi Kristina in limbo–it’s unclear, of course, just what she’ll be able to do for herself after the meds are stopped, and she remains on life support–the family is busy trying to keep boyfriend Nick Gordon from seeing her in the hospital. Gordon, who found her body unresponsive back on January 31, has been tweeting aggressively about trying to get in to see her. He seems to believe in miracles more than medicine. “Let me in the hospital to see my girl and let her hear my voice. SHE WILL WAKE UP!!!” Gordon tweeted. Unlikely to happen, given the family has a restraining order against Gordon.
