Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens was known for his flamboyant celebrations after scoring touchdowns, but he wasn’t dancing on the latest episode of Celebrity Apprentice. Under the direction of project manager Ian Ziering (90210, Sharnado), Terrell’s job was to raise money for charity. Asking people for money is not Owens’ forte. He even said so on the show. He was fired.
One of the reasons Owens doesn’t feel comfortable asking for money might be because he owes so much. According to some reports, in April 2014, Owens was hit with a massive tax bill after allegedly failing to pay nearly $250,000 in 2012. It’s not the first time Owens has had tax trouble.
