Zooey Deschanel of the NBC hit New Girl announced that she’s expecting her first child. The father is her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik, producer of films including Before Midnight, Jobs, The Skeleton Twins, and the upcoming Rock the Kasbah, which stars Deschanel, Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson and Bill Murray. Deschanel and Pechenik met on the set of Rock the Kasbah.
Deschanel is due in the summer, which has fans wondering if Jess (her New Girl character) will become pregnant too.
