Tiger Woods has been playing terrible at his comeback this week. It’s his own Hero World Challenge at Isleworth, and despite poor play in rounds 1 and 2–and obvious poor health during round 3–Woods made a heroic effort to keep going. He finished with a 69, after birdies on 16, 17 and 18.
Woods stopped on the first hole after hitting his approach shot and seemed to dry heave as he walked to the green. Reports said he did vomit on the way to the second hole. Broadcaster Bryan Cowell, on the scene before Woods teed off, wrote that Woods was “looking disoriented, very uncomfortable on the range.” But Woods finished the round–and in style. But he’s in last place in the elite 18-man field.
