Comedian Bill Cosby was scheduled to appear on The Late Show With David Letterman on November 19 but Regis Philbin will replace Cosby on the broadcast. According to Newsday, “no reason was given for the schedule change.” Cosby also dropped out of The Queen Latifah Show on October 30.
The cancellations come after stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby “a rapist” on stage, and after Barbara Bowman, one of the women who has alleged Cosby sexually assaulted her, wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post.
