Last week on Dancing with the Stars, celeb dancer Janel Parrish of Pretty Little Liars channeled her villainous character Mona Vanderwaal on the dance floor with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy. It was a Halloween-themed number set to a Viennese waltz. They didn’t get the scores they anticipated because some of the judges didn’t think it was a true Viennese waltz.
They’ve been busy since rehearsing four dances including the cha-cha, the rumba and a jive (the judges pick on the spot on Monday, November 3), Val remembered Janel’s birthday and surprised her with a bouquet of flowers and 26 balloons. There are lots of rumors swirling about the couple that they’re more than friends. The couple will perform two dances on the November 3 show, the first a judges’ choice, but the other is a set piece. For Janel and Val it’s a contemporary dance based on Romeo and Juliet that won’t do anything to quell those romance rumors.
