Rumors are swirling that recently retired Yankee Derek Jeter is planning a surprise wedding this weekend with his girlfriend Hannah Davis, a 24-year-old model. He’s rented out the Oheka Castle, the mansion on Long Island where the legendary Orson Wells filmed Citizen Kane, but the details regarding the party – a wedding or just a big bash for hanging up his stripes — have been kept under wraps.
Although Jeter’s dated prodigiously and quite a few of them have been celebrities – Mariah Carey, Jordana Brewster, Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly – this will be the 40-year-old’s first time walking down the aisle. The closest he’s come is serving as best man at former Yankees catcher Jorge Posada’s wedding.
