Former member of the Pussycat Dolls, singer Nicole Scherzinger dropped her new single “Run” in late September. It’s off the new album, Big Fat Lie, which just came out in the UK. Nicole’s been tweeting up a storm and singing copies in London–and she’s eager to talk about the album and how therapeutic it was to lay it down.
In an interview with People, the former X-Factor judge has revealed that she suffered from bulimia for eight years. Nicole told the mag she isn’t perfect, but “I’m in a different place in my life now,” she said. “I feel a bit more confident and comfortable in my own skin to be able to talk about things that I hadn’t talked about before.” Other songs on the Big Fat Lies album include: On the Rocks, Heartbreaker, God of War, Girl With a Diamond Heart and First Time. Scherzinger says it’s a “very personal album to me.” Another part of the personal stuff that inspired Big Fat Lie was her breakup with boyfriend, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.
