With Glee coming to its conclusion this season, Glee creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are focusing on the future. Fox has given them the green light to create a 15-episode hour long comedy called Scream Queens. They’re leaving the high school musical stage and bringing their wacky humor to a college campus that’s been disturbed by a series of murders.
“We hope to create a whole new genre — comedy-horror — and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads,” said Ryan Murphy. Scream Queens promises to deliver “true horror with big comedic moments.” The show will compete with FX’s American Horror Story in the 2015-16 season.
