Actress Charisma Carpenter of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel landed a guest-star role on Sons of Anarchy. She will play Carol, “a conservative administrative director at a medical facility.” It’s a big move after her most recent appearance on TV in Surviving Evil. On the Investigation Discovery series, Carpenter revealed her personal story of being tattacked by a serial rapist when she was 21 years old. The assailant was eventually caught and sentenced to 56 years in jail.
Carpenter said after her story was aired: “When you share something personal and intense, people are less inclined to think of you as a celebrity and more as a human being.”
