The 12-year-old singing sensation on America’s Got Talent finals, Quintavious Johnson is from the Bible Belt town of Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb just 20 miles south of Nashville. Franklin is where Miley Cyrus and her family used to live (on a ranch). She even filmed her 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie there. Franklin is and has been the home to lots of Nashville’s finest country singers including Alan Jackson, George Jones, Brad Paisley, and Carrie Underwood (she just sold her house there in 2012). Somehow Jack White of The White Stripes snuck on the list, too.
Quintavious Johnson is a local hero in Franklin. He’s sung the National Anthem for the Nashville Sounds and the Franklin Cowboys. And now Quintavious is becoming a national hero on America’s Got Talent. The AGT winner will be announced September 17 on NBC. Whether Quintavious wins or not, chances are he’ll fulfill his dream of singing for his hometown NFL team the Tennessee Titans.
