Ant-Man may be the most talked about film in the Marvel Universe–and that includes the mega-hit Guardians of the Galaxy. The long-troubled film has finally started filming after a complicated gestation, and fresh director Peyton Reed is promising to bring something wickedly new to the screen. The movie has had bona fide star Paul Rudd attached since near the beginning and he’s perfect to deliver the comic element Marvel’s smallest hero deserves.
People have been combing over the mostly boring photos from the San Francisco set looking for clues–as Marvel fanatics do–and now ScreenCrush posits a Hulk easter egg in the background. It’s a poster for Pingo Doce soda, the same greenish-glowing pop that a drop of Bruce Banner’s blood drips into in The Incredible Hulk. Does it make sense? The speculation at ScreenCrush makes the connection look easy, asking: “Could we also see a Bruce Banner cameo? It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that someone as smart as Pym would be friends with someone as smart as Banner.”
