The recently married singer/actress Naya Rivera of Glee is making her film debut in At the Devil’s Door. The horror film is directed by Nicholas McCarthy who made his creepy directorial debut with The Pact in 2012. At the Devil’s Door is about a young, attractive real estate agent (played by Catalina Sandino Moreno of the FX TV series The Bridge) who’s trying to sell a house with a sinister, supernatural past. Rivera plays the real estate agent’s sister, Vera. IFC Midnight releases At the Devil’s Door on demand August 8th and in theaters September 12th.
Rivera’s brand-new husband, Ryan Dorsey, is also making his debut in a major motion picture. He has a role (‘Shamrock’) in the action/ thriller Blood Father, starring Mel Gibson, Elisabeth Rohm and William H. Macy. Let’s hope the couple doesn’t bring their work home with them.
