It’s not quite “The Decision” but LeBron James does have people guessing again. This time it’s about what number he’ll wear. And via Instagram, he’s asking fans for help deciding. LeBron wore #23 the first time around in Cleveland, but he never won a championship wearing it. (That guy Michael Jordan used to win championships in number 23 all the time.)
In Miami LeBron won two championships and went to the finals four straight times wearing number 6. (Another high-flying Hall-of-Famer named Dr. J wore number 6 in Philadelphia after leaving number 32 behind in the ABA.) So whichever number LeBron chooses it’ll have good pedigree, plus his own history. He posted an image on Instagram that showed him in both. 290,000 people liked the picture and 270,000 offered their opinions. But Instagram doesn’t have a built-in voting tool, so LeBron will have to crawl every comment to decide! Or maybe he’ll just call Mark Zuckerberg–get that Instagram voting thing set up.
