Brennley Brown is one of the youngest singers (she’s just 14!) to have made it to the Top 10 on The Voice, Season 12. She and alt rocker Hunter Plake are representing Team Gwen. Brennley is garnering support from lots of people and even some organizations along the way. On the day of her Top 10 performance, Clearwater Marine Aquarium wrote on the official The Voice Facebook page: “We are are on #TeamBrennley all the way! Brennley has been inspired by Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Winter the Dolphin and in turn, we have all become inspired by her. Vote Brennley tonight!”
Winter the Dolphin, an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, was found caught in a crab trap in Mosquito Lagoon near Cape Canaveral, Florida when she was just two months old. She was brought to the Aquarium were she was treated but her tail could not be saved. Winter, who is now 11 years old, uses a prosthetic tail where she continues to inspire people at the Clearwater Marine Aqaurium. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
