In the Fear the Walking Dead episode “Sicut Cervus,” while the group pushes on to Victor Strand’s (Colman Domingo) destination, Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) meets and confides in Celia Flores. Celia is the mother of Luis (Arturo del Puerto) who works with Thomas Abigail (Dougray Scott).
Celia is portrayed by Marlene Forte. She’s known for her roles on The Fosters (Elena Gutierrez), NCIS: New Orleans (Rita Ortega), Code Black (Lucia), Dallas (Carmen Ramos), The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Kathy’s grandmother), House of Payne (Rosie Hernandez), and Crossing Jordan (Gloria), among many others. Forte is also recognized for her roles in the films A Haunted House (Rosa), Star Trek (Transport Chief), and Real Women Have Curves (Mrs. Glass). Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
