When not on a Hollywood movie set, iconic actor/dancer John Travolta (Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Get Shorty, Michael, Pulp Fiction) enjoys music like the rest of us. When invited by Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee to see The Rolling Stones perform live at SoFi Stadium, Travolta accepted.
In the video above, that’s Travolta and Tommy singing and dancing along with Mick Jagger as the 78-year-old sings the Stones hit song “Satisfaction.” Travolta says it was a “Great show! Mick was phenomenal. He sets an example of endless energy.”
Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hager replied about Mick: “When he quits I will go three more years to match him. There’s no reason to try and go beyond Mick. He set the bar.”
Travolta wasn’t the only celebrity guest. Check out the photo above: (l-r): Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger, Travolta, Tommy Lee, and Alice in Chains singer/guitarist Jerry Cantrell, and Rob Zombie’s lead guitarist John 5. Many fans including actress/singer Juliette Lewis are curious: “Really gotta know how y’all came together!” We’re waiting for an answer! Another fan asked: “What the hell is going on here?”
When Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum saw the concert going group photo below, he replied: “That’s a crazy crew” with a heart-eyed emoji.
In the video montage above, swipe to the fourth video to see Tommy Lee doing his best Mick Jagger impersonation; and video 7 for another shot of Tommy and Travolta singing together. Fun fact: Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson’s son Dylan Lee’s middle name is Jagger.
