In The Blacklist episode “The Pharmacist,” while Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force track a notorious underground biohacker aka The Pharmacist, Red (James Spader) gets his first day in court after being arrested by the Attorney General Susan Holt (Karen Pittman). When Cooper (Harry Lennix) is called to testify, things get complicated and Judge Roberta Wilkins calls everyone into her chambers.
Cooper reveals that he runs a task force that officially doesn’t exist and relies on intelligence provided by Red. The judges surmises that the Justice Department has made a deal with the devil himself,” which has Red chuckle. “Shouldn’t judges at least pretend to be impartial?” he asked.
Judge Wilkins on The Blacklist is portrayed by actress Becky Ann Baker. She’s known for her roles on Girls (Lena Dunham’s mom Loreen, SEE LINK ABOVE), The Good Wife (Alma Hoff), Kings (Jessie Shepherd), Freaks and Geeks (Sam’s mom Jean Weir), and in a variety of films including Spider-Man 3 (Mrs. Stacy), In & Out (Darlene), A Simple Plan (Nancy), and Men in Black (Mrs. Redgick), among others. Fun fact: Baker is married to actor Dylan Baker (photo below). The Blacklist airs Fridays at 9 pm on NBC, right after Blindspot and right before Dateline.
