In the Young Sheldon episode “A Race of Superhumans and a Letter to Alf,” Sheldon (Iain Armitage) experiments on Missy (Raegan Revord), and Georgie (Montana Jordan) joins his mother Mary’s (Zoe Perry) bible study to spend more time with his crush, Veronica Duncan. Georgie met 5’9″ tall Veronica, who Sheldon is tutoring, in the October episode “Seven Deadly Sins and a Small Carl Sagan” (link below). Veronica Duncan is portrayed by 18-year-old Isabel May. She’s best known for her starring role as Katie Cooper in the Netflix series Alexa & Katie, which was nominated for a 2018 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Programming (see red carpet photo below). May will appear next on the big screen in the horror film Let’s Scare Julie to Death, which his written and directed by Jud Cremata (I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant). Young Sheldon airs Thursdays at 8:30 PM ON CBS, right after The Big Bang Theory.
