In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Mama,” an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s, Madeline Thomas (Fionnula Flanagan), claims she was raped at the assisted living facility where she lives. The case is difficult as Madeline cannot provide details due to her illness. During the investigation, Detective Rollins (Kelli Giddish) questions Albert Romano, a singer who performs at the facility. He’s known for his Frank Sinatra impersonation. Albert is portrayed by Joe Piscopo, who is also known for his Sinatra impersonation.

Comedic actor Joe Piscopo is known for his years on Saturday Night Live where he did Sinatra and Ronald Reagan, among other impersonations. Piscopo is also recognized for his roles in the films Dead Heat (Doug Bigelow) with Treat Williams, and two with Danny DeVito — Johnny Dangerously (Danny Vermin), and Wise Guys (Moe Dickstein).
