Petnostics is a product that allows owners to monitor their pet’s health instantly by using an at-home urine test and then analyzing with the Petnostics app. (There’s a chemical test strip in the cup that changes colors depending on the pet’s health.) Petnostics inventor Stephen Chen pitched his business on Shark Tank in 2016. He went in the Tank asking for $300,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. He accepted $300,000 from Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary for 20 percent.

Since Shark Tank, Petnostics landed a partnership with manufacturer Fetch for Pets! in New York City (which also works with Shark Tank winner TurboPup). Fetch for Pets! CEO Steven Shweky said: “Petnostics fills a huge void in the preventative healthcare space on shelves and offers not only convenience for consumers but a huge cost savings.” New episodes of Shark Tank (Season 9, 2017) air Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
