You may have noticed a New Balance push lately — the quintessential American athletic shoe brand seems to be popping up on the radar more, even with giants Adidas and Nike still dominating the market. Thought of primarily as a running shoe maker, New Balance is finding a good position in the increasingly vibrant walking market, with retailers displaying big signs indicating New Balance isn’t just great for a marathon. It’s also great for a marathon day at the shopping mall. New Balance likes to remind customers that it is the “only major company to make or assemble more than 4 million pairs of athletic footwear per year in the USA.”
Online retailer Zulilly is running up to 50% off on a whole cache of New Balance shoes and apparel, from trail running shoes to classic suede to performance socks and performance apparel like top-of-the-line zip hoodies for running — or for just moving around. Zulilly runs its big sales daily, often combining different brands for a broad appeal. A big New Balance offer might be combined with Steve Madden, Rachel Ray, Aeropostale and cosmetics from Perricone MD, for example. It’s free to subscribe.
