Two pieces of seemingly unrelated news. 1) LeBron James is dissatisfied with the Cleveland Cavaliers current roster — and that was before Kevin Love got hurt. James said the Cavs need a “f’ing playmaker.” 2) Brandon Jennings is a proven NBA contributor who can score and just got released from the Knicks because apparently he has a bad attitude about losing. That’s something Jennings and James have in common — they hate losing. Could LeBron James’ request for a guard to solidify the Cavs lineup — after losing Matthew Dellavedova to free agency and JR Smith to injury — find an answer in Jennings? Stranger things have happened.

Probably depends on Jennings’ health and how James feels about some tweets Jennings issued when James made his “decision” to leave Cleveland for Miami. Jennings said of James in 2010: “he run too much when shit gets tough. Never just stuck it out. Like MJ. Magic. Bird. Kobe.” Then again, Jennings also said James was Top 10 NBA players of all time and clarified his earlier post saying “they act like I said Lebron was a terrible player. Lol. He’s a Great.” Jennings was a backup for the Knicks, but he started in the December 7 game against the Cavaliers, scoring 16 points, grabbing 4 boards and dishing 3 assists in 30 minutes. So James has seen him lately. Cavs crushed the Knicks in that one, 126-94.
