The Hawaii Five-0 episode ‘Ua ho’i ka ‘opua i Awalua (The Clouds Always Return to Awalua)’ is a tearjerker as Dr. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) says goodbye to his Five-0 family after seven years. But don’t worry, there’s a lot of action and drama too. When the team investigates a murder during a police convention on the island, they turn to helicopter pilot Frank Bama for help.
Frank Bama is portrayed by singer Jimmy Buffett. The singer is best known for his music and restaurant franchise named after his hit song Margaritaville. Fun fact: Buffett wrote the novel, Where Is Joe Merchant, which features the character Frank Bama, a pilot. Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays at 9pm on CBS.
