Sarah Blain is the single momtrepreneur behind Sealed By Santa, a business that mails customized letters to children from Santa Claus. The letters, which include a North Pole postmark, come with two videos (a Night Before Christmas message and a “keep up the good work” message) and a phone call from Santa. Parents can also opt to add ornaments, hot cocoa, and reindeer food to their child’s Sealed By Santa package for an additional cost. Sealed By Santa letters are $10.95. They are available in English and Spanish (Cartas De Santa).

When Blain pitches Sealed By Santa on Shark Tank (December 9, 9pm, ABC), one likely complaint from the investors will be the seasonal aspect of the business. That said, they’ve invested in other holiday businesses including Ugly Christmas Sweaters (Herjavec), and Hoppy Paws (Corcoran), which have been successful in expanding their brands beyond the holidays.
