Geoffrey Woo and Michael Brandt are the two entrepreneurs behind Nootrobox, a line of chewable coffee cubes and pills. Why chew coffee? The GO CUBES are made to be an alternative to a cup of coffee. The gummies taste like coffee but have half the caffeine (50mg per cube) so you don’t get the bad effects of caffeine like the jitters. Nootrobox products — which claim to have a positive influence on one’s brain performance, attention, alertness, memory and mood — are approved by the FDA. Although Nootrobox has received backing from some of the heaviest hitters in Silicon Valley including Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer, Zynga CEO Mark Pincus, and VC firm Andreessen Horowitz, the business is being pitched on Shark Tank (December 2).

A box of 20 X 4-packs of Go Cubes is available on Amazon for $39. They’re available in three favors: mocha, pure drip, and latte (each pack is assorted). Note: Although Go Cubes are rich in Vitamin B6 and B12, the first two ingredients listed are corn syrup and sugar. Each cube has 6 grams of sugar. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
