In The Middle episode ‘Look Who’s Not Talking,’ Axl (Charlie McDermott) refuses to talk to his mother Frankie (Patricia Heaton) after she inadvertently told him how she really feels about his girlfriend April (Greer Grammer). Meanwhile, Brick’s (Atticus Shaffer) new tick lands him in detention and Sue (Eden Sher) gets a surprise visit from her former boyfriend — now gay BFF Brad — who stays the weekend at her college.
Brad is portrayed by Brock Ciarlelli. He’s played the role for the past seven years including the season were Brad came out of the closet. When not on the set of The Middle, Brock was studying at Chapman University in Orange, California where he earned a B.S. in mathematics. The Middle airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
