On the WAGS Miami episode ‘Put a Ring on It’, Ashley Nicole’s boyfriend Philip Wheeler (NFL linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons) asks Ashley’s best friend Darnell Nicole to go shopping for an engagement ring. When they meet at the jewelry store, Phil explains to the man showing them the rings that after Darnell got engaged, he realized “I’m in huge trouble.” (Phil knew he had to step up to the plate.) It’s an awkward moment because Darnell and her fiance Reshad are not on good terms right now. Nonetheless, Phil does pop the question to Ashley during their stay at the Versace Mansion.
All this talk about proposals and engagements gets to Claudia Sampedro, who sits down with her NFL player boyfriend Julius Peppers to discuss their future together. Claudia says she sees marriage in her future but Julius says “I don’t feel the pressure to get married, at all, or engaged.” WAGS Miami airs Sundays at 10pm on E!
