Another Halloween is upon us (or Hallowe’en, to use its correct spelling and please pedants, or to be more accurate, another Samhain, so put away those pumpkins and carve a turnip instead), an excuse to dress up like a “sexy” ghoul and drink cocktails with funny names like Witch’s Brew at the office party in the hope that you will finally get the chance to hook up with the co-worker you’ve been crushing on all year, an opportunity to show off to your neighbors, a chance to indulge your secret passion for frightening small children, and another opportunity, courtesy of Google, to waste time playing a Halloween video game.
This Halloween’s Google Doodle lets you play a spooky game as “freshman feline Momo on her mission to rescue her school of magic” from pesky spirits. I spent about an hour this morning swiping spells, which was fine, because Ireland has just entered Daylight Saving Time, so I had an extra hour anyway.
