Katherine Krug is the entrepreneur who pitched BetterBack, a device worn while sitting to help straighten one’s posture, on Shark Tank. BetterBack claims that after using the product for 15 minutes a day, it will improve the user’s posture and ease back pain. Billionaire Mark Cuban told Krug he thought she pigeonholed herself with her valuation. But that didn’t keep the Queen of QVC Lori Greiner from making a deal with Krug ($750k as a loan at 7.5 percent, and once paid back, eight percent).

After the Shark Tank episode aired, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran and Daymond John (who wasn’t even there), all showered her with praise on Twitter. When the ABC Shark Tank account tweeted “Mark Cuban tells it how it is,” Krug tweeted back: “Cuban! Life in the pigeon hole is pretty great!!”
