Michael Quinn is the entrepreneur behind Buffer Bit, the shoe shine kit powered by a drill. The kit comes with one drill bit and three wool buffing pads (in black, red and natural). You just attach one of the bits to any cordless drill and let the bit do its job. Buffer Bit was initially designed for shoes — but it can polish anything made of leather. Quinn pitched the product on Shark Tank in 2014. He didn’t get a deal but that didn’t keep him from expanding the business.

On the BufferBit website, Quinn is selling a variety of polishers including the mini for tough to reach spots and scratches on cars, motorcycles, and boats. It works on aluminum, billet, magnesium, stainless steel, and chrome. BufferBit also offers metal polish to safely remove oxidation and fine scratches on metals. The shoe Buffer Bit sells for $24.99; the auto Buffer Bit sells for $19.99.
