Logic dictates that a group of humans should be able to survive a zombie apocalypse simply by keeping one step ahead and allowing the second law of thermodynamics to do its entropic thing. The zombies on The Walking Dead, if they don’t get their brains bashed in, eventually succumb to the ravages of time, and their too-too sullied flesh melts, thaws and resolves itself into, well, not a dew, but a mushy, ravaged, rotting mess that cannot support its own stinking carcass and simply falls apart. (Cough much like the show itself cough.) In spite of this, however, between The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Talking Dead, not to mention Flight 462, the massive success of the franchise means that the walkers aren’t going anywhere. Well, they’re walking somewhere, but you get the point.
Universal Studios Hollywood is getting a Walking Dead attraction. Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick announced the news on Sunday night’s episode. AMC says the show’s crew were involved in creating special effects, props, costumes and makeup for the attraction. A mix of live actors and animatronics will put you in a fully-immersive experience following in the footsteps of the survivors. So I guess that means there will be a lot of tourists in Universal Studios this summer making a lot of really stupid decisions.
