TVLine reports that FOX is making a sequel to the popular FOX TV drama Prison Break. Fox CEO Gary Newman said “It’s going to bring back both brothers, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell,” who play Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows. The 10-episode series will pick up several years from where the finale left us.
Miller’s character, Michael, died in the finale of Prison Break which aired in 2009. But Newman says that detail will be “ignored.” The director Paul Scheuring has “a very logical and believable” explanation for why Michael’s still alive. The series will air sometime in 2016.
