On Extant, astronaut Molly Woods (Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry) comes home from her solo space mission and is mysteriously pregnant. Now she’s suffering from a strange illness. It started with migraines and now she’s hearing voices in her head and her skin is burning. On top of that, Molly she has to deal with the “morally ambiguous” humanich robot named Lucy.
Robot Lucy is portrayed by Kiersey Clemons. The 21-year-old actress is best known for her roles on the Netflix hit Transparent (Bianca) and MTV’s Eye Candy (Sophia). She also has a role in the new indie film Dope produced by Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and Pharrell Williams. Extant airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CBS.
