UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey will face challenger Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro on August 1 (10pm on pay-per-view). Rousey is confident that she will win. Although the bout will take place in Correia’s homeland — and the Brazilian fighter has an unbeaten record — USA Today says, “not every winning streak is created equal.” Plus, Rousey received a warm welcome and is now seeking personal revenge.

According to MMAFighting, Correia told Brazilian media in May that “she hopes Rousey doesn’t commit suicide after losing her UFC title.” Correia apologized and said she wasn’t aware of Rousey’s father’s suicide. Rousey doesn’t believe her. Rousey spoke to the press the day before the fight: “I have to beat this girl so thoroughly that there’s no future girls that pick on my family in order to get a quicker title shot. Pick on me but leave my family out of it.”
