Traci Lords has retired from the adult film industry and is now promoting her fully clothed acting career. She’s showing her range by starring in the reality TV show Celebrity Wife Swap with Emmy Award-winning comedic actress Jackée (Sandra on 227). It promises to be hilarious. Lords is also working on the thriller TV movie, Sharkansas Women’s Prison Massacre. Yes, giant prehistoric sharks find a way into the Arkansas Bayou where a group of female prisoners are on a work detail in the swamp. Directed by B-film pro Jim Wynorski (Chopping Mall, Not of This Earth, The Return of Swamp Thing), Sharkansas features Lords playing “a very snarky detective Kendra Patterson.”
Lords, who is now 47, lives in Redondo Beach, California with her husband a son…and without a TV! You can see her on Celebrity Wife Swap on May 20, 10pm on ABC.
