After a difficult season with the Los Angeles Lakers, point/shooting guard Jeremy Lin has a fresh start in Charlotte with Michael Jordan’s Hornets. Hornets head coach Steve Clifford is promising to use Lin in various player combinations to create potent offensive spacing and penetration. The Hornets look like a team on the upswing and Lin should get the chance to contribute on a winner.
Lin’s story is unique among NBA players. An Ivy League grad and unlikely NBA candidate, Lin rocketed to worldwide fame during a brief, galvanizing stint with the New York Knicks in early 2012.
