On New Girl, Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) worries about introducing his classy new girlfriend May to his not-so-classy friends Nick (Jake Johnson) and Winston (Lamorne Morris). Chances are May will fit right in. Turns out May can play the cello, which will come in handy the next time Jess breaks out into song. It’ll happen. Problem is, Wayans has announced this is his last season on the show. So we don’t expect to see much more of May on New Girl. 🙁
But don’t worry about the actress playing May, Meaghan Rath. While she’s best known for her role as Sally Malik on the Syfy series Being Human, the 28-year-old actress has two new recurring roles on TV this season. She’s playing police officer Aimee King on Cinemax’s crime thriller Banshee, and the sister of Jess, the mother of the 5-year-old boy who was found dead by Ryan Phillippe, on Secrets and Lies.
