Tigere “Tiggs” Chiriga likes to drink tea. When he got married, he and his bride invested in new furniture. To his wife’s dismay, Tigg’s porcelain cups kept leaving rings on all the new tables. He couldn’t get in the habit of using a saucer or coaster. Lucky for him (and his marriage!) he had an idea…and The Floating Mug appeared.
He designed a porcelain mug that appears to be floating on air. One side of the handle of the mug curves around to form a base, almost like a coaster, while the other is attached to the mug. It’s light weight (1.1 lbs.), and it’s dishwasher (top rack) and microwave safe.
