Dying Light is the latest survival horror video game on the market presented in first-person perspective. Like other post-apocalpytic games, you roam a deserted environment after a mysterious epidemic and scavenge for supplies and weapons during the day. At night, flesh-eating zombies awaken to hunt you down. Advice on how to survive is similar to other games like H1Z1: take advantage of the darkness, choose your firearms carefully – they’re noisy which will attract unwanted attention.
What makes Dying Light different is its graphics. It’s the first game based on the Chrome Engine 6, a new incarnation of Techland’s proprietary technology. Dying Light is built with advanced DirectX11 graphics which means bigger and more detailed open worlds. The graphics are more photorealistic with changebale weather and lighting. The same team that made Dying Light is working on the dark fantasy Hellraid, another first-person perspective game made on the Chrome Engine 6.
