After years of producing racy Super Bowl commercials featuring half-dressed female models, web host company Go Daddy tried a different direction last year. Company spokesperson NASCAR driver Danica Patrick got artifically buff and ran down a city street with a herd of bodybuilders looking for a spray tan salon. “Get Found, Get Business,” was the tagline. As the Huffington Post said of the commercial, “it actually kind of makes sense.”
While many ad critics last year said there was “too much puppy love” in Budweiser’s Super Bowl ad, Danica Patrick’s co-star in the 2015 Go Daddy Super Bowl XLIV commercial (to air Sunday, February 1) is an adorable puppy named Buddy. Who knows what Go Daddy has up their sleeves this year. Even if you don’t watch the Super Bowl, chances are by Monday, February 2, 2015, you’ll have seen the ad.
