The generous move has raised more than $1.25 for the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, which will use it to help fund research in pediatric cancers.
The Bengals’ plan stemmed from a situation that hit close to home. Devon Still’s 4-year-old daughter Leah was diagnosed this summer with neuroblastoma. She has since undergone successful surgery to remove a cancerous tumor and is doing well, but the initial prognosis was grim. The team has sold more than 15,000 $100 Devon Still jerseys. The team is no longer accepting orders for the item, according to its website.
