Presumably entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe will ensure that Cumberbatch will be entertaining legions of fanboys at Comic-Con for years to come. Of course, it could be a bad movie. Doctor Strange is co-written by the guy who wrote the dreadful Conan remake, and will be directed by Scott Derrickson, who made audiences stand still and not go and see The Day The Earth Stood Still.
