When will it end? Will these exposes and leaks from the cloud move from celebrities to regular people? Is privacy over? According to TMZ, a rep for Olympic volleyball player Misty May-Treanor says that at least one of the leaked nude photos in the third round of “the fappening”– presumed to be the three-time Olympic gold medalist–is fake.
Misty May-Treanor, along with teammate Kerri Walsh Jennings, is known as the most successful American female beach volleyball player of all-time. Now retired, May-Treanor serves as a Sports Ambassador for Special Olympics Southern California, and recently completed her Graduate Degree in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University.
Note: This article originally named Misty May-Treanor as the first olympic athlete caught in “the fappening.” She is the third. Soccer player Hope Solo and gymnast McKayla Maroney have also been victims of the security breach.
