On the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood episode ‘For the Love of Money,’ while the bickering between A1’s and Lyrica’s mothers continue to threaten their relationship, Brandi Boyd is facing a much bigger problem. When her husband Max Boyd gave her $27,000 to put in their son’s savings account, she didn’t. Instead, she spent all of it to open a clothing store called Jhalae. Now she’s roped her friend Princess into her plan to hide the $27,000 secret from Max.
At the store (which isn’t open yet), Brandi admits to Princess: “I didn’t put a dollar into Brandon’s savings, not a dollar.” Princess doesn’t want to judge but she can’t help saying “There’s something wrong with you.” Betrayal is the word Princess uses. Brandi thinks the store is going to turn that $27,000 into $270,000 “real quick” and believes she did it “for a good cause.” Love & Hip Hop Hollywood airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
