Dates, a dried fruit, have been cultivated from the date palm for thousands of years. They are predominately grown in Turkey, Iraq and Arabia and Morocco and USA. With a reddish brown soft skin, they are easy to digest and provide instant energy giving the body iron, potassium, vitamins A, fiber and antioxidants.
