Peaceful Fruits is a line of natural fruit snacks made with acai (pronounced ah-sigh-ee). Acai is considered a “superfood” due to its antioxidants, amino acids and health omegas. Peaceful Fruits is made with acai berries from the Amazon rainforest and other organic fruits and no added sugars. The founder of Peaceful Fruits, Evan Delahanty of Akron, Ohio, pitched her food business on Shark Tank in February 2017. He went into the Tank with superfood enthusiasm but, alas, he did not leave with a deal.

Since Shark Tank, Peaceful Fruits got a branding makeover and there are now eight flavors available: Blueberry & Acai Drizzle, Passionfruit, Pineapple & Acai Drizzle, Mango, Strawberry & Acai Drizzle, and Original Acai. A 12-pack retails for $16.
In June 2018, Delahanty reported that Peaceful Fruits has bought new equipment: a giant dehydrater that will allow the company to boost production from 1,000 units a day to 10,000 units a day. A big (and “scary”) step! They’re launched a subscription program online and the product is being sold at about 47 local Kroger’s grocery stores. Evan hopes to get into more groceries stores and hope to expand their deal with Target. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
